مرفق إعلامي ملتزم ومسئول، افتتحت في 31 من أغسطس عام 1972، من قبل صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس للإتحاد حاكم الشارقة لتكون أول مرفق أعلامي في الإمارة، يمتد عمرها إلى 38 عاماً، ولا تزال تواصل بثها على ذات النهج الملتزم والمسئول في خدمة أهداف وتطلعات الإمارة
